Description

We present organic rosemary hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Rosmarinus officinalis. The product bears the name Rosemary organic hydrolate for perfumery. The raw material is of Bulgarian origin, and the care of the plantations follows organic rules throughout the year. Synthetic fertilizers and chemical agents against pests are excluded from cultivation, which keeps the aerial mass free of foreign impurities of external origin. The Lamiaceae family includes the species whose volatile substances remain above ground, in the stalk and in its leaf cover. It is precisely the aerial mass that is used in the extraction, and the leaves on it have a linear to lanceolate shape, a needle-like appearance and outwardly curved margins. The tone of the distillate ranges from colorless to light pink and goes no further. The aqueous phase looks clear, and no sediment appears in it. The scent manifests itself with great strength, the spiciness is light, and a bitter note closes the picture. The purity of the aroma comes from steam distillation, in which the water retains only the light soluble compounds of the entire aerial part of the plant. The peltate glandular trichomes on the leaves hold the volatile fraction in their extensive secretory cavity, characteristic of the species and its leaf tissue. Among the described compounds of the raw material, cineole, pinene and camphor are at the forefront, followed by camphene and borneol in the olfactory picture. The organic composition is limited to plant ingredients and remains free of preservatives and colorants. Without additives, the scent relies only on the stalk, so the olfactory picture does not change until the very end of the sensation. The spicy side moves forward, while the bitter note stands behind it and lingers for a long time. The character of rosemary remains perceptible until the last moment. The aerial origin is evident in the dry direction of the distillate.

Application
Rosemary stalk hydrolate, obtained by the organic method through steam distillation, is a valued ingredient in perfumery thanks to its fresh, slightly spicy herbal nuance. The liquid is included in eaux de toilette with an herbal accent, aromatic body mists and essences for personalized fragrances. It is applied as a fixative in compositions for niche fragrances, in base blends for unisex fragrances, as well as in sprays for freshening hair and clothes. It is used in elixirs for special occasions, in blends for boutique collections and in aromatic drops for the individual creation of compositions. It also finds application in light-textured scented waters, in herbal-based diffusers, as well as in sprays for scenting textile accessories. It is suitable for compositions with a woody and citrus nuance, for roll-on application in daily use, as well as for concentrates intended for creating luxury fragrance lines. The fresh herbal character of the ingredient complements a variety of aromatic profiles without weighing down the final composition.

Storage

Store organic rosemary hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the perfumery hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.

Attention !!!

Please use organic rosemary hydrolate according to the instructions and follow the safety recommendations. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if an allergy such as redness or irritation occurs. We recommend performing an allergy test before use.
